This Ford pickup is so gigantic. I don’t understand what people do with something like this. How do you even find a place to park it? I drive 20+ thousand pound F550 at work and yet it is somehow shorter than this monster.
Bonus: The Camry in the right of this photo is equipped with the ‘Camry Dent’.

That’s surely a custom job, right? Where do you get something like this?

I’ve wondered the same. Its not parked there all the time and I’ve yet to run into the owner but if I do, I will certainly have some questions to ask.

I mean, I’ve seen pictures of these before, but never in someone’s driveway as like, their personal vehicle. I mean, the number of places where this would be a hassle is like, 95% of the places one might go on a daily basis. Like driving around with a trailer all the time, only with a worse turning radius.

Our local off-road shop has one that’s been their show truck for a while
These guys are cool too because they like to make legit off-road trucks versus bro dozers. ETA Off-road.

I started to laugh, and then I realized that there are plenty of kids that would pay money to rent this for prom.

Wow, and yet, isn’t something this long and heavy going to have trouble in rough terrain?

I would make it even more ridiculous by making it SRW instead and give it a short bed. What can I say, I kind of want to watch the world burn.
As a postscript, I have seen six-door Excursions too.

I have heard of people using custom-built pickups like that for practical things, but I think they’re the exceptions that prove the rule . Things like being able to carry the entire work crew and all the materials and equipment for jobs in a single vehicle , or taking the extended family on regular trips with a large travel trailer or boat. Sort of like a minivan that can handle a fifth-wheel trailer.

I did that once. Someone had a sticker with a racist caricature of Obama on it, captioned "Does this ass make my truck look big?" So I left a sticky note next to it saying, "No, but your tiny dick sure does."

Im honestly curious about this as well. I have yet to run into the owner of it as it’s not there all the time. It has commercial plates so it very well might be a work truck although the lift kit and lower profile tires make it a little less practical. I just can’t imagine having to try to live with something that big. It’s not like I live in the middle of nowhere. This truck is located in the middle of a large urban and suburban area. Trying to navigate something with that long of a wheelbase has to be a nightmare around here.

That’s bloody awful.
Needs more load bed for it’s length.
How about a 20ft dropside loadbed+cab

That would be hard to phrase I would think, as some people might take it as you questioning whether or not they ‘need’ that. Although anyone with that level of conspicuous consumption should expect some questions.

It’s no sports vehicle. If rough terrain is an unmaintained railway access road it’s capable enough

I don’t have one of it, but I wish I had a photo of it, but I used to see an early 90's F250 around Missoula, MT when I lived in that area. It was a 4
door with an extended cab and a long bed, it was massive, and I loved it. They used every seat too.

Let me guess, also in a generic suburban tract house locale where the owner uses it for a bi-yearly Home Depot or Ikea run.

I’ve s een many of those in Utah. The propensity for people to have 4+ children and outdoor toys tends to lead to the popularity. I saw five or six in one day during Easter Jeep Safari weekend down in Moab. Plenty of six door Rams as well. They were full of people and hauling 40 foot gooseneck trailers with high dollar off road rigs.
